New Haven, CT

What will the nonprofit sector look like in 5 years? 10 years? 20 years?

The answer lies in the vision and drive that nonprofit leaders exhibit right now. Today holds the promise and reality of who we are and what we are capable of achieving. Many of the rules have changed, but one underlying truth remains: the power of nonprofits lies in our missions. How we adapt our vision and pursue our missions will determine our success.

Keynote Speaker: Jan Masaoka, Blue Avocado

Nonprofit Sustainability: Develop Your Business Plan During This Workshop!

Every nonprofit has a business model, whether they know it or not. And most nonprofits today are hybrids, combining earned income with contributed income and volunteerism. This fast-moving workshop will show you what your current business model is, and how to adjust it for a financially sustainable model understanding that programming and finances cannot be discussed separately. The session is based on Nonprofit Sustainability, a forthcoming book that Jan co-authored.
