Reach Advisors blog: Museum Audience Insight

Reach Advisors logo smaller 2.jpg

Are you looking for interesting ideas to try at your museum to attract and retain members?

Would you like to peruse a whole bunch of interesting thoughts and ideas about how museums look at their audiences?

Want to try some interesting and "far out" marketing techniques?

If you're fascinated by what the best brains have to say about audiences and marketing, the Reach Advisors blog is the very best place to start.

With current entries on the cleanliness of your restrooms, how to attract men to your museum (truly!), and the role of dogs (yes, they are ecologically sound) on your museum grounds, the visitor to this blog will definitely be tempted to skip their next meeting.

Many of the postings are from Susie Wilkening, a researcher with Reach Advisors, and a prolific author on this topic (see AASLH's History News, "Authenticity? It Means Everything" 63.4 Autumn 2008).

This blog is also a great place to look for other recommended blogs to visit, and includes postings by date and category, plus, you can sign up to be part of the conversation and share your observations and success stories.

Prefer to follow the conversation in an e-newsletter format?  Not to fear!  You can sign up for their e-mails right on their home page.

Highly recommended and found at www.reachadvisors.typepad.com.
