Every profession faces a formidable array of moral and practical dilemmas. Yet the pressures of the modern work environment seldom permit people to listen to one another and to discuss issues of common concern.

These seminars illuminate fundamental problems and contemporary issues in the field, all in a congenial, reflective atmosphere. They are designed to bring about disciplined reflection by using literary and/or historical works as a basis for dialogue and by calling upon the wisdom of participants to share their experiences about their work and daily practice.

The CHC partners with professional organizations to bring Using Stories in the Professions to their membership.  We currently offer seminars for legal professionals, members of the philanthropic community and members of the Connecticut Conference of Municipalities.  We're currently developing a program for Health Care professionals.
